Question: Can I still place orders for a new dtek?

Answer: No. Effective immediately, we are no longer accepting purchase orders for dteks.

 

Question: Can I order replacement parts for existing dteks?

Answer: Yes. Replacement parts can be ordered after working with technical support to determine a replacement is needed. You will need a support ticket number before reaching out to procurement at secorders@frontsteps.com.

*Lead time for replacement parts can run 6-8 weeks in some cases.

Question: Will FRONTSTEPS continue supporting issues that arise on existing dteks?

Answer: Yes. We will continue to support and troubleshoot the dtek software and hardware until there are no longer any dteks in use.

Answer: These changes take effect immediately.

 

Question: Are there any other telephone entry integrations for dwellingLIVE?

Answer: No. There are no planned integrations for other telephone entry systems on dwellingLIVE. However, FRONTSTEPS Secure is compatible with Kantech and DoorKing telephone entry systems. Models include:

  • DoorKing 1833 PC Programmable

  • DoorKing 1834 PC Programmable

  • DoorKing 1835 PC Programmable

  • DoorKing 1837 PC Programmable

  • Kantech KTES

 

Question: Is FRONTSTEPS Secure a good fit for existing dwellingLIVE communities?
